At Invest in Equity, we believe mentorship is one of the most powerful accelerators for professional growth. Our Mentorship Program connects ambitious women investment professionals with accomplished leaders in life sciences venture capital, private equity, corporate investment, and operational leadership. We’re opening applications for women in investment decision making roles (Principal or Partner level) seeking continued professional development to help take their careers to the next level.

The goal is simple but bold: to equip the next generation of women leaders with the insights, networks, and confidence they need to take their place at the top of the investment industry.

Program Structure

Duration: January 2026 – December 2026

Commitment: One 1-hour mentorship meeting per month

Format: Virtual, in-person, or hybrid (based on location and mutual preference)

Mentee-led Topics: Mentees set the agenda to ensure each session is relevant and impactful

Global Reach: Open to mentors and mentees worldwide

Eligibility

Mentees: Women professionals currently in an investment role at Principal or Partner level, committed to advancing into senior investment leadership in life sciences.

Mentors: Experienced executive-level leaders in venture capital, private equity, corporate investment, or in-sector operational roles (SVP/EVP/C-Level) who are passionate about shaping the next generation of VC talent.

Selection Process: Shortlisted applicants will have a conversation with the Invest in Equity team to ensure the best mentor-mentee match.

Our First Cohort

2026 marks the launch of our inaugural cohort. To ensure strong engagement and impact, this first intake will be small. Future cohorts will be expanded to include a broader range of career levels and roles, aligned with the IIE mission to champion equity.
