SCI Ventures

About Us
  • SCI Ventures is the first venture fund focused on advancing new treatments for paralysis, investing globally in neuroscience and regenerative medicine breakthroughs.
  • We view spinal cord injury (SCI) as a gateway to broader neurological innovation - spanning Stroke, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, ALS, MS, and beyond.
  • Backed by leading medical foundations across the US, UK, and EU, we are actively engaged across the full life cycle - from funding early-stage innovators to co-developing new therapeutic programs within established biotech companies.
Our portfolio includes:
  • Onward Medical, which developed the first brain-computer interface (BCI) enabling a person with paralysis to walk using their thoughts;
  • Axonis Therapeutics, whose neuromodulating drug for SCI, epilepsy, and pain is entering clinical trials following a $115M Series A.

With multiple companies moving into the clinic, we are accelerating the future of neuroregeneration – bringing forward new possibilities, and hope, to millions.
